I have always been a huge fan of the Urban Decay Shadow Boxes. They’re all about color and I am all about that too so then we kiss and everything is wonderful. Unfortunately for this palette it seems the texture of Urban Decay’s shadows has changed and like any other good human being, I am scared of change and generally don’t like it when something was fine to begin with. These shadows feel a bit more on the dry side compared to the formula I’m used to where sticking my finger in it feels like rubbing my finger on the finest of velvets churned from the finest butters. Velvet now comes from butter, do not question it.
Basically, I’m a little disappointed in the texture but still find these to be lovely, vibrant, and easy to work with. They’re still really good quality and I don’t have much more to ask for. So, lets open ‘er up and make a peep at them insides, girl!
Very satisfying insides, girl! Much like. Very want. Drooling for swatchie boos!
These swatches where done on bare skin with one to two swipes of powder. Some shades were a little bit more powdery than others but all in all tended to be pigmented and soft to the touch. Damn fine palette, damn fine indeed. Glad I picked this one up.
