Two more to go!! We are now on CREME! Which I like to pronounce as crem. This is an older OPI, but is now officially my favorite ted. It’s deep and vampy while still being red enough to tell that it is indeed red. Reds, unfortunately, can go from classy to messy really quick if your application and clean up aren’t on the fleeks. Mine are not on the fleeks. I’ll make a post on how to do right by red polish since I’m obviously and expert.
This is OPI I’ve Got the Blues for Red. The perfect Adeep blue-based red. It goes great with my pale, cool skin. This was two coats with a coat of top coat. The formula is smooth and easy to use.
Basecoat is a must. I had some major staining, you can see it where I tried to clean up around the cuticles and it stained the actual nail. It took a little bit of scrubbing with remover to get the polish off the skin. I should have gone straight in with acetone, but I didn’t want to get up to wash my hands after I used it. #Lazygrrlproblems. My fingers start to burn a few seconds after I’ve used acetone so I generally try not to use it.
I’m really pleased with this polish. I’m sure if I had been sitting up to paint my nails on a flat surface things would have gone smoother. Yet, once again, despite knowing better I chose to paint them while laying in bed in the dark. We can’t always win them all.
Next up we have our final polish, “The Gift”. Technically all of my nail polishes are gifts besides my older ones so I can choose whatever I want!
May your manis be on the fleek with minimal clean up!
